It is to my knowledge that the new patch corrupted the map, making it unplayable. I propose to edit it to make it playable again. I am also going to add the same leaderboard I have in Ultimate Footmen SE. Are there any opinions or objections? Other than the leaderboard, I will not change anything else.

If all Stormahawk is doing is adding a leaderboard then loading shouldn't be a problem. If he added more models and units on the map then there's a chance.

Still, it might just be better to work on .90 instead of .79c. It'll confuse people if they think the versions are going backwards.

 

I just want to fix the older version (which I believe is better than .90). This way, there is more to play than just SE. The multiboard will just be a fun addition to keep track of scores.

I was browsing the forums, but I'm not able to find the latest footmen map. I'm currently playing 6.0.

BTW, is there any guides. My brothers keep owning me... and it's not fun. When they keep mobbing my base.

 

Ultimate Footmen 6.0? The highest Ultimate Footmen ever got was 1.00 and some people don't even consider that an official version.

The current official version is Ultimate Footmen .90 or Ultimate Footmen SE .65.

 

It might be one of those non-official versions epicwar.com is crowded with, like the 8.6 and such.

Both of those are fake versions that people make. I'm sure that they have some type of cheat code or something in them.

Also, I remember Ultimate Footmen X from a long time ago. It was becoming a problem since the time of .79c.

 

The fake versions usually have serious balance issues, resulting in people not hosting them.

I would not recommend .90 for now because it is seriously unbalanced. The most stable version is the SE version.

These fake versions probably came around the time between Ultimate Footmen .79c and Ultimate Footmen .90 since the map was considered to be dead so people assume that no one would ever update it. Instead of actually updating the map and fixing balanced issues. They just add a ton of heroes and some cheats to make sure they always win.

 

How's it going with that fix? Is it done already?

 

How's the progress with fixing 0.79c? Is there still much to be done in it?

BTW, today I had a bug with Loki I didn't have before. After learning his ult, whenever I use Blinking Death, he uses the ult instead, even if the cooldown didn't pass yet. The worst part is that the Tome of Retraining will just remove the ult if the cooldown has passed. Just thought I should report this, even tough I know this map isn't the main project now. But again, thanks.

Actually that was one of the original problems with .79c. Some guy hated Loki so much he made a little trigger to have it do that.

Storm you should fix it, and then re-release the BEST VERSION EVER
