Inherent ability - Shadowmeld

Shadow Flash - 20 levels cd 20 second
in essence...flurry from AotZ, except static damage at 20, 200 range per jump, 1 jump per level

Shadowed Blades 10 lvls - crit 2x 3% per lvl
also 1% per level to poison for 4 base+2per lvl for 4 seconds

Fade into Grace 10 lvls 20 mana per sec-1 per level
Self ethereal, can be turned on/off, +2% extra ms per lvl

Evil Intent - 3 levels 30 mana
passive aoe ms slow (15%) for 500 range and active blink for 500-600-700 range at 10 second cd

It's probably gonna need a lot of balancing because I've never tried making a hero before...but yeah, there it is.

I can have it poison in criticals, but other than that everything else looks doable.

Shes not getting mana regen while in ethereal form, if anything it will drain mana. I'll have it camoflogue her too.

yeah, it's supposed to drain mana, less per level. Also, what do you mean by camo?

give him,

starting ability, demorph, heals hp over time and gains armor but cannot move for 30 seconds(turns into a bunny or something harmless)

shout empty threats, -x% att speed(on enemy), +y% move speed(on enemy)

broken wings, can fly around the battle field for x seconds when landing he takes x damage

idiotic charge, deals x damage to a enemy and 2x damage to dao

Ultimate, clueless, his idotic movements makes him unprictable giving him x% to dodge an attack and is unseen on minimap

then your hero can act jsut like you :P

Hero Model: Sea Witch
Hero Type: Agi/Piercing
Tint: 050 075 100

Inherent Abilities -
Triple Shot (Or some other non-generic name.)
Levels = 6. Mana cost gets higher, and so does the damage for the two extra arrows.
Shoots multiple arrows at the cost of mana.

Liquid Clone
Levels = 6
Creates liquid clones of the Mistress that take double damage and deal half the Mistress' damage. Mana cost increases as do the number of clones. Max clones = 6.

Typhoon Winds
Levels = 6
Sends a blast of high powered winds that picks up debris and damages nearby enemies. (sort of like the Scarabs dust tornado ability, but send like three at once that have are invulnerable but die after so many seconds.
Damage and mana cost increases, life span remains the same.

Ultimate -
Maelstrom
Levels = 2
(Like flame strike) Causes a blast of water and wind to violently strike a target area.
Damage, radius, and mana cost increase. Also have it destroy trees.

Hero Name: Gorgok Knobtail, Goblin Potion Master
Hero Model: Alchemist
Hero Type: Str/Siege
Tint: 160 140 120

Inherent Abilities -
Acid Bomb
Levels = 6
Hurls an acid filled flask that explodes upon impact on enemies.
Deals poison damage over time.
Initial damage/damage over time and mana cost increases. Medium radius.

Healing Spray
Level = 6
Sprays a fast acting healing mist over a targeted area.
Radius, health gained, and mana cost increases.

Fire Bomb
Levels = 6
Hurls a bomb that incinerates a target and enemies around that target.
Damage and mana cost increase. Medium radius.

Ultimate -
Chemical Rage
Levels = 2
After drinking multiple potions at once, the aftereffects causes the Goblin Potion Master to go into a frenzy where he deals critical strikes on each hit, in addition to having more armor while under the influence of the potions.
Deals critical strike 15% on each attack, bonus 5-10 armor, but takes poison damage over time for the entire length of the ability.

Invisibility
Levels = 1
Passive invisibility during night and day.

Creates a depression in the earth which emits firey volcanic flames and gases that incinerate one's enemies in the area.
Mana cost, cool down, and damage increases.

Summon Fire Elemental
Levels = 4
Summons Fire Elementals to do your bidding.
Each level is a stronger and additional Fire Elemental. Max 4.
Cooldown and mana cost increases.

Ultimate -
Volcano
Levels = 1
Creates a small volcano on a targeted area which hurls molten lava and ash across your enemies.

Evasion

Being so agile, the Shadow Hunter has become able to dodge attacks more easily.
Percentage increases each level.

Shadow Aura
Levels = 6
Gives allies increased attack and movement speed.

Frost Ward
Levels = 6
Creates a ward that fires frozen orbs at enemies.
Does splash cold damage at enemies.
Life, mana cost, damage, and splash radius increases each level.

Ultimate -
Whiteout
Levels = 2
Creates an extreme flurry of snow which drops the tempreture greatly, slowing enemies and slowly freezing them to death.
Hero stands still else spell stops. Mana cost, damage over time increases, enemey movement and attack speed decreases.

yea i looked down the road for inspiration on this one

name: Ford F-350 Superduty
Model: elven wagon or siege tank
color: black (dunno the tints for black)
damage/armor: Siege/heavy melee

inherent ability: honk horn (taunt)

smokescreen- turbo disel engines kick up alot of smog that units choke on (disease cloud for enemies only or some sort of mana costing skill that effects all units)

pick up soldiers- the truck can pick up soldiers to fight from the bed of the truck
6 lvls +1 soldier per lvl. (can this be done?)

Winch: shoot out multiple winches to pull units to the truck (like pudge kinda, only multiple ones) more per lvl + damage

ultimate: burnout- the f-350 burns rubber for 5 seconds and then takes off in a straight line, running over anything in its path (5 seconds casting time everything in the path takes % hp damage based on skill lvl. or just instantly kill ****) afterwards the truck overheats and needs 5 seconds to cool off(cant move)

model: satyr trickster lvl # tricky trickster
purpose: trapmaster
damage/armor: piercing/ unarmored very crap hp but fast move speed
700 range attack

inherent: find cover- trickster turns into a tree or shrub, or rock, make it random. make the hp bar turn really tiny or non existent in this form if possible

skills

stasis trap- obvious enough, stunlegnth n crap increase. possibly # of traps

beartrap- locks unit in place for X ammount of seconds and deals damage over time

oooorrrr instead of beartraps

punji sticks- (in essence its impale in trap form, it could literally just send out an impale)(or just give him impale)


DYNOMITE!!- light it up and run like hell, makes a big boom and hurts everything.
10 seconds to go off. deals alot of damage, kills trees, leaves but can be destroyed ( give it hero armor and a decend ammount of hp) hp, damage,area go up by lvl?

ult- improved trickery: from years of tricking people with his trickery the trickster has learned to improve his skills
stasis: aoe/duration/quantity ( any of em)
bear trap- damage OR punji sticks- can u increase the width of a skill?
dynomite- shortened fuses + stronger bombs

Sorry Cauc, neither of those are happening. I have the model list at the top of the thread. Until those are finished, I'm not looking for heros using regular or custom unit models (With the exception of Daogin's sheep)

I've spent 3 days straight examing the power of the sheep model.....its just simply not awsome enough for Daogin's hero.

I decided to use a 3 megabyte sheep model, it looks awsome, even comes with its own custom sounds. Its got an army helmet and has guns too.
It doesn't have any legs though so it kinda looks like slahn , but with a sheep texture for the skin.

his abilities can be as so

tougher boomerang
lets say the bounce on his attacks only lets him 30% of his attack each lvl should increase it til it does 100% of his normal attack
Healing Wave
idk how you wanna do that
serpent ward, summon them groupd like 3 in 1 spot(or 1 ward that attacks more ppl and does more dmg on each lvl)
example lvl 1-4;
attacks 1 enemy 30-32
attacks 2 enemies 30-32
attacks 2 enemies 32-35
attacks 3 enemies 32-35

Ult: big bang voodoo
he pauses, instead of making unit around him invul make them have incresed armor. lvl 1=5 lvl 2 10 lvl3 13

Blacks replay was a classic mass melee vs mass range. the best melee vs the best range. Also it was 90(out of 150) mins of showing how pros use stragity to win a war, not simply charging in and praying.

time to give this another shot ( with the right models)


Name-Thrall, Leader of the Horde
light armor/ elemental attack

inherent- lightning mastery. Make his attacks into chain lightning (same as glaive s)

Lok'tar ogar!- calls in orc reinforcements. higher lvls= better chance of getting warlords or better grunts

tremor- earthquake, make it shoot up rocks that stun or impale everything

inspiration- Thrall inspires all units around him to deal more damage (command)

ult- multishot(with chain lightning still. max of 3 lvls) now thats an ult

he use 2 be in tgw, but he was op and his spell keeped on being removed untill the only thing he had was mana burn...

Vanilla DH is not happening, 2 of his vanilla abilities are in use. If you want to try designing him, be my guest.

As for the Thrall design, no dice. I got Thrall pegged as a melee hero.
Only thing useable there is the aura/roar ability, no one is summoning orc warlords.

For the demon hunter

Name: Zyst

Skillz:

Much like the blade masters whirlwind, he can spin and deal damage with his 2 blades. getting stronger and lasts longer through leveling.

Evaporate - Zyst evaporates into air making him untargetable for a set amount of time. although it slows him down instead of speeding him up.
higher lvls increase length of evaporation and decreases the negative speed.

Evasive Command - Much like roar, evasive command increases the evasion capabilities of his allies for a set amount of time. more levels increase evasion % and time. (a high evasion for a short amount of time)

and i cant think of a last skill :P!

I can build the evasive command ability, but it needs a better name. Mist is not happening, Warden already has a similiar ability.\

evisceration aura- just being around Kil'Jaeden is dangerous. (aura that has a % chance to deal damage to all enemies. damage is % based on health and % chance to hit scales.) occurs every 5-10 seconds

demonic empowerment- mass unholy frenzy. area is fixed like roar, effects both friendly and enemy units. % speed increase and damage taken scale with lvl

dark portal- the demon lord summons an army of zerglings to aid him. give it a chance to summon something better



ultimate : mind control- Kil'Jaeden sends out a bolt that jumps from enemy to enemy, forcing each to fight for him. (chain lightning that has a % chance to charm an enemy. % chance scales with enemy lvl. more jumps per lvl)

Splash attacks are dependant on the size/missile type.

I don't do custom auras, causes too much lag. I got enough sync issues as it is. Possible in the future, but not until I iron out desync issues.

Demonic empowerment is a unit ability that gives a small chance to crit and dodge, would make no sense for this hero. Plus, its reserved for enslaved orcs.

Dark Portal is possible, but I'm not sure if it would fit with the hero. Kilj is an eredar warlock, I've got them themed as offensive casters and not summoners. We'll have to see how his other abilities pan out.

about demonic empowerment, i just thought it up i didint know it was a skill already ^^. the name can be anything. ill think up some abilities to replace his ult/inherent and whatnot


aoe cripple would be hella good for an regular skill or a pumped version for an ult O.o


if hes going to be a offensive caster i think his ult should be a channeled spell that keeps him in place, possibly an inferno storm that does aoe damage + stun?

and for his inherent, how about a skill similar to aerial shackle?

inherent- perma invisibility, breaks invis on attack

spells
multi shadow strike- more per lvl + damage

can u trigger an evasion skill to auto attack back at the target who missed? if so that would make for a nice skill

hamstring(for lack of a better name i just took this one from WoW)- hits targets legs, slowing them and dealing damage

ultimate- killing spree- Akama blinks around attacking targets randomly in a set pbaoe range

inherent-killing blow- .5% chance to land a 1 shot kill.... ooorrr 3% chance to land a X10 crit if insta kills are too ballin for tgw


skills -

blade whirl - instant aoe damage ( in the form of bladestorm)

improved mirror immages- BM has a chance to create a copy of himself- and heres the shocker- it actually does damage(25%)! 10 lvls 1% chance per lvl. immage lasts 15 seconds

fury of the blademaster- the blademaster gets blooddrunk and gains vamp aura and attack damage for X ammount of time (small time)


ult - mirror immage mastery- the BM makes a perfect copy of himself. lasts unitll it dies. only 1 can be made at a time. the copy takes 400% damage and deals 25% at lvl 1. 4 lvls to the skill each working towards 100/100

flash of light- mimicing the obsidian statues essence of blight in the aoe sense, but its a 1 shot deal. not a repetitive heal if that makes sense

inherent- toxic attacks- slow poison attacks -10% attack/move speed

chemical rage

long term radiation- lowers sorrounding units regeneration rate- incriments of 10% 10 lvls

healing spray- (only because i want to see some more healing units besides the TC and hydro)



ultimate- chemical concoction clusterfcuk- the Alchemist starts throwing out random potions everywhere while the orge is free to move.
can throw
acid bomb- only gives -armor. does no damage
firebomb- deals damage
clorophorm bottle- puts everything to sleep
healing flask- heals everything over time
ice tank- slows everything 50%

hero- Lan Mandragoran, the Warder

model-Paladin/Paladin(With Sword not hammer)

Hp-medium

Attk speed-High

Def-Medium

Main Stat-Agi

inherent-Wader 15% crit and 15% evasion

skills:
Scattering Winds(20 levels)-lan blinks and strikes 5 targets dealing 100 damage to each
# of targets and damage up with each level

Counter(10 levels)-Lan deals 25% of damage back to the attack
level up increses %

Sword of the Malkieri kings(10 Levels)-Lan pulls his birthright , allowing him to attack multiple enemys 25% cleave for 10 secs
level up increases % and time

ult-For Malkier(3 levels)- Lan calls upon the might on his forefathers to make him go into a perfect state. Lan gets 2x damage and lighting fast attk speed a 1k hp increase for 10 secs. Note-this is a mode and switchable like the sniper or somthing, and for every sec he is in this mode he losses 100 hp.
level up increases the attk up hp up.
