I'd like to form a group of players who'd like to defeat Ultima Weapon and also Eden. Cause trying Eden alone is equal to suicide.

There is hardly any reward for defeating Eden, since Priscilla says it's 'merely a test of your strength'. It would be nice having all quests completed in one game, though.

Anyone who'd like to fight Hashmalum - Echele - Ultima Weapon - Eden and maybe even Omega Weapon, if we're enough people, may sign up in this thread. Best post times you can play as well.

Edit: This project is on server "Northrend". If you play on a different server, create a similar project^^

If no one wants to fight Eden, then I'll just drop this project. Don't sign up if you don't want to fight him.

Holy attack type (he is an Eidolon), not sure about damage, probably something like 1500-1800.

I'd go, I like challenges, but I'm still underlevelled for this guy. :(

 

Absolutely no problem. Just get a high mage job like oracle, prophet or sorcerer and become (ultimate) master. Oracle can be a great help with the Inner Strength buff, prophet's Divine Intervention and especially Blessing of Light are really great and Sorcerer's Ultima and Holy spells are just badass.

Oh and it wouldn't be bad if someone has a Mark of the Claw (drop from Ro'gall) for the battle - 25% dmg increase. I'll have a Megalixir (100% HP and MP for all nearby friends) ready.

 

Once again, how are you all going to be connecting? Battle.net, garena, etc? I'm Taphos on Northrend Battle.net

 

Repost as can't edit due to not signing up for these forums, I added you to my battle.net friends list karifean, so should be able to chat to you when you're on. i have 8 masters, 1 ultimate master (holy swordsman) Working on mastering all 20 before ultimately mastering them all. may ultimate master prophet though.

I currently lack time to play, that's why I only have 6 Masters and 1 Ultimate Master, though I'm very high with Prophet already, and I also have the Ring of the Wise.

I think we'll all be in Battle.net, possibly gathering together in channel "FFERPG" or "Final Fantasy Epic RPG" or something like that. I don't know when we'll be playing, possibly tomorrow evening or sometime next week.

Taphos, how about it if you just register, then you won't have to deal with the lack of post editing possibility anymore^^

Edit: Should we just complete all main quests and the Spirit of Water quest or should we complete all 45 quests? Cause having all quests completed in one game would be... nice^^

 

Played with Odindark today, got Oracle to 99 and 5 masteries other than him. I'm in.

 

I got 3 more ultimate masteries today (wow, a 52 Oracle instantly became 99 when I last-hitted Echele with him, and the Yet Another Try quest gives an extreme amount of exp), and I finally got the Ultimate Weapon from Ultima Weapon. It was a pain killing him over and over just to get it

 

You should try doing it while gate is closed with sorcerer xD

he's just unlucky with the dropping of ultima weapon

 

To defeat Eden, we'd better be 6+ people. i've just tried eden together with Odindark and firechicago and we got him down to ~50%. Meaning with 6 people, it should be 0%. I had the whole mage tree + Squire ultimately mastered. More ultimate masteries would be good if we're gonna beat Eden.

Oh and I would like to know if we're just gonna do Main Quests -> Ultima Weapon -> Eden or all other quests as well.

 

Well, for each level of the heroes mobs gain 1% of hp... What was your setup btw?

 

1 Prophet (for healing) and two sorcerers (for damage)

The most important trick was to keep the sorcerers healed with Blessing of Light and make sure everyone dispelled blind and other debuffs as soon as they were cast to keep their dps up.

 

woudn't 3 sorceress' be better, as holy can heal you too, also I thought prophet's healing spell was rigged as you pay much more mana for the spell then it says.

Well I could help if you need any, (skamigo on northrend or us.east). I have 20 masters and 15 ultimates, if I remember correctly, I never even got to beat ultima weapon as people always leave till we get there <.<

 

not quite true, that prophet's just costs more mana. it also heals all friends by 100% HP (always), and mana cost depends on your current mana. if you have full mana, it will be reduced by a lot. if you have little mana, you gain a lot.
so there's surely something wrong with it...

 

I have 20 masters with 8 ultimate masters, prophet is ultimate (going to have everything ultimate mastered very soon i imagine)

Well, it's now 9:50 PM (in Austria) and the clock at the bottom of PoLlama shows 4:59 PM. You might be able to convert this into your own time.

Doesn't matter if you only have a few Ultimate Masters, the 'weakest' (least Ultimate Masters) of our group will be Prophet - see that you UM at least that one if you haven't leveled up till then. I'll sign you up for now, post again if you want out.

I'd like to join but I'm working shifts currently (atm from 13:30 to 20:30 gmt) though imma have free next friday and the next time gonna be thursday in a week unless you wanna play in the morning which i highly doubt.)

anyway, I could bring in an ultimately mastered sorcerer and prolly some more ulti mastered jobs(having samurai at about 70 and oracle at about 80 atm, squire, knight and prophet being at 50 aswell.) Might try to get a 99 squire to tank down the melee bosses aswell

pretty much, tell me, what you play/what you want me to play and imma go max some chars.

For Eden, try UM'ing as many jobs as you can, that way you can deal about 2000 base damage (and 4000 with Ultima), which is really great. We have to deal as much damage as possible in just five minutes.

Edit: Maybe we should start finding a day for our project. Everyone just post when they can play and maybe also adjust it to the days posted previously.

I can play practically any afternoon during the week except for Monday. This week's Friday, Saturday and maybe Sunday (if there's no other option, I'll see I can play that day) are impossible as well, next week, though, they're all possible.

I suppose it should be in this or the next week. If anyone decides they want to come along, just sign up. We're 7 people now (maximum: 8), which should be enough to beat Eden - but you can't ever be too careful.

 

the best day for me would be saturday, the 20th feb for that day is the only one on which I have free yet I don't have to work the next day again.

we might aswell try to kill omega weapon... just ultimately mastered some more jobs :P

i have all the character ultimately mastered.
I tried to kill eden solo using monk but i failed. I only made it's hp to half.
I suggest that monk is a better choice in killing eden because of it's avatar
