Lvls would suck because if you get fed by some noob then it = instant advantage over everyone.

Also for the Unlimitedness i would like it if it could be dropped on death because it would create more skill needed would be fun imo

Anubis, reel in your obnoxious personality for a second; I haven't played enough recently to actually warrant a complaint. My suggestion is based off of (far) past experience.

Anyways, rushing a main with pallies or shredders isn't obviously a guaranteed win but your chances of succeeding if the two players in this scenario are within the same skill level is high. If the person with the paladins and shredders has armor type, weapon type, or both advantages then even good micromanagement won't save you if the other person isn't completely inept. Same goes if the the mains in question are unbalanced, which can be resolved later with the defending player getting another base but early on he doesn't have this option.

Shocker, there's always the possibility of a person gaining ground because of feed. People try to assemble decent players into a game to avoid this. However, even in public games, I doubt that the person who has the highest leveled hero after the first five minutes is normally (as in most often) the person who gets fed. That's just using imaginary statistics.

Slowing down the gameplay down is a problem. This could be solved by adding other hotspots but I guess the chances of this happening is very slim since BA has been rendered a semi-active project for a while now.

wth do you call that? the map is NOT more important, real life is. playing wc3 /making maps should be a secondary thing you do to kill time, (or as a hobby ofcourse)...

one idea i had about speedin up the game alittle towrds the end of bc i hate when there only 2 pple left and game goes for another hour or two somtimes is put portals that go from north to south and east to west that r in game for everyone it would be awsome i think it would make more hot spots to battle over and keep pple on there toes more in fear that somone with an army could hit u at anytime and wouls elemate some of the startin location luck like when pple say o crap zuey is close but with portal he could be close to anyone and again would speed the game up at end big time i got the idea from risk games on ftf play one of them to get an idea of what im saying before u nay sayers bash this or make it a setting like bounty and such

why would you want to make a game shorter?

When i play i know who won 30 mins into the game and i never get a game longer then a hour any more. The 2-3 hour games use to own, sadly they never happen.(unless who ever is winning and should win is a noob)

i agree with basically knownin who won in 30 mins but that doesnt mean the game ends in 30 mins and thats kinda my point about long games somtimes u get in games and u have a good idea whos gonna win but unless u leave witch is kinda gay it takes awhile a lot of the times to end it bc the map is so big side to side and its so easy to kill pples portals when they build them by u the only time that ever works agaisnt me is when i let them bc i wan the game to end and in pub games where u dont no everyones gameplay it gets way harder to judge on if somone won that early

plus it would help with pple not winin the game in 30 mins basically bc a lot of times when that happens its bc that player is rollin over easy pple or emtpy bases witch with portals would stop that bc other armys could go to same spots and that happens all the time when like theres 3 or 4 pros super close and an ok player by himself chances r that player by himself is gonna have way to easy of a game plus it would help when theres all pros in like the north of map and pple r stealin bases from each other and other ****** tacics witch can be fun but can be really gay to and it makes the game more flexable and this would help elemate the boring time of the game of walkin side to side and gives pple less time to prep for an incomin attack i mean this is like the only game where i can watch tv first and play this second and still win in short it would speed up the borin parts of game and make more hot spots for battle bc think about it everyones gonna be like scouttin the port by them and like u could cut off armys and such it puts way more flankin tactics on the map witch equals more fun

Shock all our games that we usually setup are at least an hour unless they crit error, sometimes more. Name the actual negative effects of putting portals in place, the only time i see that it would severely shorten the game is at the end to move mass troops when it is just two or three people left and the game usually drags on pointlessly at that time anyway. Seems to work alright in Lost Kingdoms.

I said the game lasted a hour ark...

Idk if portels would be good or bad. I was comenting on why would he want 2 make the game shorter.

Portels would completly change the game play tho. Early game then you need to worry about 39 bases attacking you besides the 6 bases around you. Also the person that wins would be the guy who runs around base stealing bases/army killing and running from portels to portels. It becomes army hunting not base hunting.

PS no one uses portels in LK crappy spots(unless rushing to the top corner to buy a base)

lol well i dont know if 4 portals should be implemented and in all reality i would prefer the current built portals to just be tougher or actually to be repaired by repair crews if possible.

arky i promise pple would love permant portals it would make heavy traffic areas like sherds in beginin only all game long plus even if u make player made ports stonger u still have to march your poen all the way sometimes across the map witch can take 5 mins and with permant ones all u would have to do is get your peon to perm portal bc its not like the perm ports r gonna be super close to all bases and even if something goes wrongit doesnt take 5 mins to go back ive played to many games that get down to 2 to 4 pple and it goes on way to long and like i siad before gets borin bc pple at that point can get max spawn so fast towrds the end plus think of like when u got 2 bases way far away but they mix mian really well together it makes it more plossable to try it as long as u can kill your way or kinda hold an army to perm portals again like in short like i said it puts way more flankin and genral tactics to tjhe game and addin stuff like chyanges up the game way more witch=more fun its better then adding diff color drags and stuff those things get old after a week of playing with them

Well I know someone posted it at some point in the past but we have ships and we have land transports, why not add the option to buy a goblin zeppelin sneak a peon in somewhere build a portal and BAM! army in your face.

No, the point is theres no choke points to scout. You need like 50 men on scout duty to stop someone. The you are fighting a 150 vs 200 unit fight, which you will most likely lose.

1 portel behind enemy line can turn the tide of the game.

The fact that you cant counter it makes it OP

so what about boats putting portals in celen? or putting portals in other areas of the map? this is just another tool to use i dont see how u couldnt counter it, not like the portal is invulnerable, thats like saying once someone builds portals by your base your doomed. There are not many "secret" and useful places u could even build portals without people noticing.

Yeah I could name a ****load of areas i place portals already that the mojority of ba players dont look, and im not just talking about pubs, lots of pros dont know about these from what ive seen, some here would. I love the aspect of this this game, POrtals already kick ass.... I use anywhere from 2-10 per game as would most players. The zeppelen doesnt need to exist, portals are already a fantastic way to work in strats. There are certain bases troops can be transported behind... then portals built behind 6 specialised landings and more involving juggs... for clearance and even certain "jugg carriers". If you know what im talking about you know what im talking about Jugg base aiming is viable and appropriate in some cases... anyways what im trying to say is adding more options to increase certain players strats will only leave more poor souls raped harder than they already are, i dont think its going to improve the game. I love strategy and have worked out my own methods for seiging and attacking each base on map using everything you can, but i dont think adding more things like that is going to make any improvemnent, thats my opinion

Actualy if a person doesnt know that you have portels by his base, and he has scouts out everywere. Then you can kill him very easyly when he attacks you.

Also theres a ton of rigged places you can get to by air that would be unreachable by ground. Like flying behind the north east base, and sieging the base were they cant reach you. Or killing the orges bases towers and then droping siege on top of that mountian. Also picking up siege and droping them, picking them up and droping then so melee can nevet touch them early game. example SC siege tank + transport ship

early game you get siege and a zeplen. Fly behind any base were towers cant hit you and you get a ton o f free base kills.

You can go behind the northeast base now by boat and do the same siege tower tactic nothing new there. This just goes with my earlier statement either include air units or dont at all not have a dragon and a couple of harpies and that is it.

ya currently theres only a few spot, but all can be stoped by a dragon, ship or long range units. Air transports makes there be like 1000 rigged spots, possable uncouterable if a zeplen could be shot down befor getting to the spot.

3 teleports can actually be built behind the most north eastern base, you transport catapults there you can boat it but use the three teleports after you place peons there by boat... aim with range catapults hero dragon, and seige towers. I do it for fun sometimes. Theres more than that at other bases as well not jsut hte norhtern ones, west south west.... and other northern then theres other little ones over the maps with juggs taking out trees.

Obviously you can counter this by building your own tports there before someone else... i dont like to share strats like this but ... ive been using htem in pub games lately for fun so someones going to catch on anyways.

for those of u that say u can make portals that pros dont cheak is bull ill admit im to lazy most of time to scout a lot but like i said in a post before the only time portals work agiasnt me is when i let them its not hard to figure out where pple r gonna put them useally its the closet emtpy base or or the biggest clearin by your base or there 2 far away
and i just dont care then and i think zeps wou7ld be op theres to many big bases that zeps would make to easy to take like north kodos spot theres conners of that base that even when mianed there that your bases line of sight doesnt even see and it prolly would make pple mass range more and dont need anymore reasons to do that and the only reason it works in 12 kingdoms is bc its so boring and so little unit options anything works to break the game up

it would be awsome peon cannons but if added i would like the option of throwin normal units in for long range motars that can kill men but not buildings think of all the ammo u would have with those startin footman and 5 units it would be way more fun shootin them out a cannon then killin them off with your towers at end that would be crazy like a fox and i no im stealin that from somone postin it earlyer but i love the simpsons and thats all that i can picture in my head is hommer sayin that about this idea
